Belt Promotion Day January 28, 2011
January 28th Madama Jiu-Jitsu Academy will be hosting the New Year’s first Promotion Ceremony. It’s been a while since Professor Madama did any stripe or belt promotions; it’s all coming to a head at this Promotion Ceremony. If you are a student of Madama Jiu-Jitsu, try to make to the Academy for the celebration.
Aside from jiu-jitsu promotions, Kru Mike Lanzano will be doing the honor of making our very first promotions for Muay Thai.
ATTENTION: The kickboxing class will start one hour earlier than normal. If you are taking the kickboxing class please be here for 10AM! Kids and adults will be taking the class together. At the end of class, Kru Mike will be doing the arm band promotions. Be there!
The jiu-jitsu class will start at it’s usual time of 12 o’clock, but will run until 1:30. Kids are invited! At the end of class, Professor Madama will be making lots of stripe and belt promotions. Don’t miss it!
Kids and adults will be promoted together.
10am until 11:30am: Muay Thai class with Promotion Ceremony – Kru Mike Lanzano (Black Arm Band), Head Muay Thai Instructor.
12pm until 1:30pm BJJ class with Promotion Ceremony – Professor Madama (Black Belt), head BJJ Instructor.
Please clear your schedule in advance for this historic day. You may be in line for a promotion yourself. Even if you arent, come support your teammates on this special day. Without our teammates we would have no one to train with. We look forward to sharing this great day and a successful 2012 with you.
Thank you for your continued efforts to make Team Madama the very best!
